About Gloria Parker

Gloria Parker is the CEO and Senior Partner of Parker Group Consulting. Her company serves major corporations and government agencies, providing management and IT expertise as well as building relationships between the government and the private sector.

She once served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of two cabinet-level agencies, the Department of Education and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She spent many years utilizing her IT expertise at a major Fortune 50 company.

During organization improvement effort at CDC, the Parker Group exceeded all expectations by going well beyond their calling to helping us to stay strategically focused and proactively think about the needs of our organization. We hired them to assist with aligning the technology components of the new organization, but soon realized that their skills and areas of expertise reach well beyond technology management. They also successfully assisted us areas of strategic planning and organizational design, build and implementation. They communicated clearly and listened carefully to the needs of the organization.
